LIFE STORY

I was born. I went to quite a few schools (wouldn't call myself a carny but I felt like one). Finally, I started high school and the magic began. They had an old-school graphic design department; camera, wax machine, plate maker, rubylyth, non-repo blue pencils, two-color press, and a fantastic instructor. I went to college and started working on what I love doing. Fast forward to today, gray hair, wife, kids, beer gut, and a passion for good design. Living the dream.

• Design and concept design of direct mail, point-of-sale, branding and advertising for multiple national accounts
• Worked directly with Art Directors and Creative Directors on national accounts
• Presented concepts and designs to Art Directors on various national brands
• Streamlined workflow to various printers and vendors
• Produced mechanicals for vendors
• Delegate work to junior designers

• Directed all design and managed the graphics department
• Worked directly with the account managers to ensure client's work was accurate and on time
• Resolved any questions/concerns clients had with design and concept delivery
• In charge of all pre-press operations (plates, color correction, imagesetter maintenance, pre-flight of customer's files, and mock-ups
